The coloured islands
On the island of Rose
I saw a volcano erupting with anger
Billowing with clouds of smoke sighing with depression
On the island of Blue
I witnessed still rivers like ancient statues in museums
Blue jays tweeting as sweet as fudge
Blue Whales singing deep as the ocean itself
On the island of Emerald
I saw oxygen-exhalers trees and flowers
Amazonite sparkling in the light like a light-shiner
On the island of White
I witnessed white whispering mountains echoing
Pale pearls shining in the snow
