Prologue 

You’ve probably had many exciting trips on skyships. In the summer, you would have flown over towns and villages enjoying the breeze. When you flew, there would have been children playing in the water at beaches  with blue, clear skies. When you flew, there would have been sailors catching fresh fish meat then travelling from island to island. You probably got taken to the hawaii islands and landed the skyship just so you could get a tan at the beach. 

But travelling on an adventure to a forgotten island is no matter. You should try a Skyship journey where the speed of the ship allows the breeze to flow in your hair. You should try being there when vicious aliens attack, when they use their weapons to destroy the Skyship. You should try being there when the food runs out and there is only a drop of water left. Few people would wish that on anyone. Even experienced flyers think about not travelling on the ship. No one knows what creatures hide there. Rumour has it that there are dragon-devouris, lava-giants and more. Few would wish to meet a fast-eater-troll. Most say the rumours are for a good reason.

Chapter 1

Everyone’s eyes followed up as the Skyship Infinity rose into the pink, colourful sunset. Captain Rosemer was staring into the view planning her next destination, her face with joy and determination. And then they were gone!

Maria and Ells peered down as the skyship infinity rose up, looking at things which were humans but ended up looking like tiny ants. The skyship passed over many towns, and went over trees, which looked like pieces of broccoli standing on a plate, and beaches with many seagulls stealing others’ chips, while screaming kids played in the sea.

Attempting to shout at the crowd below, Ells and Maria turned to each other and grinned. Maria was once again happy to be on an adventure, but on the inside her stomach felt like they had butterflies in it and her heart began to race as they got higher and higher up into the sky. She thought to herself, will I be okay? 

After a few hours, the Skyship Infinity was already above the woodland forest. Ells saw people camping in tents, people lighting fires and roasting marshmallows on them. Maria sat down and said, “I wonder when we will get to the island of Da Fitit?” She mumbled, while starting into the distance. Ells looked over to her and replied,

 “ Well, I want to know if we ever come across the fire bear again. Last time we almost made the skyship light on fire! I hope we never do that again.”

That evening, the weather turned icy cold, with hail bounced  off the air balloon. The sun created an orangey pale colour that lighted up the sky. From the deck, Ells  could see the tower of stone down below, with shimmering lights like the stars in the galaxy.
