Storm Killer

You’ve probably been on an airship when the skies are a bright blue with emerald green fields and bright joyful towns down below, how it feels to have the wind blowing through your hair, and to feel totally free of everyday life. I bet you’ve enjoyed the holiday flights knowing when you arrive you will have four long weeks of complete and utter luxury and relaxation. But, you should also try a trip where you can feel the adrenalin coursing through your veins, as you travel across the seven seas in a tiny land boat not knowing where you’ll end up, where the treacherous waters hold more mysteries than the lands, that is a journey to watch out for…

Chapter One

Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, the sky goblins attacked. Their sharp talons rapidly clawed the ship, as they attempted to burst the balloon. Captain Black Beard yelled, “Quick, save yourself!” whilst diving off the ship, fifty feet in the air, with fear in his eyes, leaving only his trusty pocket knife reading ‘If you trust in yourself and fight for it until the end your dreams will come true.’ Doing so, Liam carefully picked up the knife to fight for his and his sister Phoebe’s life. The goblins, began fiercely battling with the young boy. As the last few goblins remained, they took a swing at his leg. Suddenly, there was a scream of agony, Liam fell to the ground anguished. Luckily, Phoebe was hiding behind the crates. Horrified, she witnessed her own brother being slayed, by beady eyed, no good, ugly faced goblins, all with a single large green wart at the end of their noses. Enraged, Phoebe emerged from behind the crates and carefully took the blood red claw out of Liam’s leg, grabbed the knife and stabbed the remaining goblin in the wing. Crash, the goblin dived into the water with a slimy trail of blood behind it, never to be seen again.

Weakly, Phoebe slowly began to wrap up Liam’s wound with the last thing she ever got from her parents. It was a few threads of a once bright sky blue, warm and fluffy, blanket. As she wrapped the threads around Liam’s leg she began to clean off the goblin blood, and just to be on the safe side she attempted to sail south as far away from the goblins as possible.

Suddenly, Phoebe felt weak like her brother. She assumed it was just because of the weather which was cold, dark and stormy. Then, Phoebe noticed a small insect on her that appeared to have bitten her on the arm. Of course she squashed it, unaware of what harm it could cause until she realised it was a kissing bug (A kissing bug is an insect that feeds on people’s blood and can give humans life threatening diseases) all of a sudden… ‘THUD’. Phoebe fainted.
