A Childs Sky ship Adventure

Chapter Two

Tom stared into the darkness, looking puzzled he turned around to face his beloved new guide horse Winnie as to ask something.  He saw three things: his brother Tristan lighting a fire in the mid winter’s night, all of the unknown wildlife darting and slithering around the island and the sound of the crickets whistling in the silence while they settle down for night.

THE NEXT MORNING

Toby, the eldest brother, had been studying their old and crumpled map all night while lying in the pebbly sand.  But by his side all night without him knowing had been his fellow horse with a glistening mane despite the dull weather a flowing thick tail and massive but shining hooves off a beauteous beast.

Since Toby had been studying their map all night long he finally come to the realisation that they were on the Island of the Unknown which is where they were meant to be, however he had also come to the conclusion that there were two Islands of the Unknown and that they were on the wrong island and not just that because they didn’t know where they were either.

Just as he told his other brothers they all wondered how the horses were expecting them? How did the horses know? Did their parents know? Was it them who told them?
