That morning, Ria and Dylan were awoken by an ombre sunrise glistering at them, as Ria stepped out of the temporary log cabin that They had made from some branches and leaves, she spotted a man wandering around looking clueless as if he had been hit on the head with a sauce pan. At that moment Dylan emerged from the cabin with a plate of something that Ria really didn’t want to know what it was, it looked like a plate of burnt slugs, “Do you want to try may mystery dish” asked Dylan, she gave a little shriek as one of the burnt slugs wiggled, Ria said in a queasy voice “No why would I?”

Dylan dropped his mystery dish in shock as he spotted the man that looked like the pilot. The children decided to wander up to the man as they got closer they realised that it was him there was something down by his feet that looked like a tortoise but it was a lot bigger. As the pilot spotted them he looked at them as if he was to say what were they doing there.

As Dylan started to try to drag the pilot back to the cabin, Ria wanted to have a look at the creature on the floor. The animal was curled up in a tight ball as if it was about to freeze, she quickly scooped up the animal in her arms and ran back to the cabin. Dylan had tried to make a small bed for the pilot to recover.

Dylan noticed the creature curled up in Ria’s arms, He automatically tried to touch but ria didn’t want to scare the it so she told if Dylan not to touch the animal it wouldn’t get frightened.

That afternoon, the pilot had woken up from a sleep that seemed to last forever. He was as grumpy as usual but the good news was that he wasn’t acting as if he had just been hit on the head with a sauce pan. The creature was refusing to leave the cabin, so they decided that would try to take it out another time.

The children had made a small area for the creature so it couldn’t escape, as the sun went down they said goodnight and drifted off to sleep.
