Malamander
Chapter 3
Several hours later. In a little room we sit taking a sip of a cup of tea and biscuits to go along with it. Outside, clouds smother the town. Inside, we are cozy and warm relaxing in the Grand Nautilus Hotel. But on another hand Isaac has plans. Plans about ” the Stingamander.” Isaac begged for help.( so I said ” Anvil var) ” Ok, ok” I do know a bit of information about where the Stingamander lives.” ( having no even a specific clue)
I woke up hearing a knock on the door, I opened the door and saw Isaac.” What are you doing?” ( I asked him) ” I’ve been outside” what! I exclaim my words. It turns out he had been searching on the beach looking for clues of the Stingamander. Which he had found. He came to ask if I ( Anvil var) wanted to see what he had found. Certainly agreeing, we both exited the Hotel making our way to the beach. I stared at the footprints ( once he had showed me that was it) they look like the ones we had seen at the casino. ( him pointing it out at me) Yes I am sure of that but what wondered me the most was what were they doing here. At the beach.
Late that night I lock every door in the museum, along with the windows and turn off the lights. But then Isaac recommends torches which I don’t know a clue of what we need them for. But once we venture back to the Hotel and get the torches. I told him that what is this needed for, turning to the hotel door blocking it until he answers.” Ok, I just want to go to the beach and search that cave we found earlier. I open the door and we exit the building going to the beach. Once again. We arrived in front of the cave. I yawn and say it’s getting late we better get going. Isaac’s stubbornness gets to his head.” Come on let’s go it will only be quick.” (He says desperate) we head into the cave but then we see dozens of signs. They were worn and old, almost like they were placed there ages ago. The signs. They’re not that pleasant, I express my fear. Why what do they say, I can’t read. Danger, do not enter, creature! I stutter, I’m terrified but Isaac has not even a bit of fear. We head further in finding myself follow him. There’s goo at the side of the cave, the Stingamander must of been here I tell Isaac. But can we go up now I moan to Isaac. Ok we can.
Once we reached the top. The night was no longer there, it was dawn. But I hadn’t believed Isaac at first but now, now I believe him. At the sand I saw another pair of footprints, I ask Isaac should we follow it, ready to get it over with. He agrees. But I get the same feeling that Isaac is leading me into trouble yet again.
We follow the sand footprints to be led into a muddy path leading into a forest. But the forest was silent, to silent. But soon enough we was at a dead end but I soon saw Isaac climbing the fallen tree that had been blocking our path. So I decided to climb it to while getting a hand up by him. But as I get up Isaac whispers “look” I look and straight away notice why had whispered. There I saw a huge egg in a huge nest. Which is naturally not an animal egg form a normal sized animal. So we slide down the log which originally we were lying down on.
Moving forward to the nest, there we hear a rustle in the trees not too far. We fell a guilt our way. There we fell a loud rattle behind us, my senses tingle just like spider man when a villain is on the move. But we, we were the villains. My eyes latch onto Isaac slowly turning around, almost like a robot loosing connection. There’s a loud screech, I turn around but there I get a gust of wind in my face, its the Stingamander! I look in front of me. The exit! It’s shut. My soul left my body. Were trapped! Isaac steps forward; I step back.
