Chapter 3
In the middle of the night, Juliet was sobbing silently into her hands however, Andrea was jumping trying to find a way out.
Andrea was walking up and down the room back and forth and stopped at the small window in the corner, looked through it and realised it was way too far for someone to hear them shout for help. Andrea tried to find a loose brick or something but still couldn’t find one.
Every minute that passed, Andrea grew even more frustrated with Juliet, “Why do you just sit there while you could be helping me try to find an escape?” Juliet just sat there looking glum and lost all of his ideas. So Andrea walked back and forth trying to find a way out. Was there a way out? Andrea spent a long time using a hair clip but disappointed she said, “It doesn’t work.”
Angrily, Andrea shouted “ why wont you just help?”
“There is no point! We are going to be here forever! We are stuck,” muttered Juliet, sighing as he spoke.
“But how do you know? You haven’t tried!” muttered Andrea standing with her arms crossed.
Just as Juliet was going to sleep, she heard a little scratch coming from the window. She opened her eyes and looked at the widow. Looking back at her were Taylor’s dark green eyes gazing back at her. Taylor purred, “Get up here and give me some wide ups!” Juliet reached as far as she could to get to Taylor and turned the key in her back.
When Taylor was full, she dropped a small shiny key into Juliet’s hand. “It’s time to get out of here.”
Slowly, Juliet turned the key in the rusty lock. For an amazing moment, it felt like it wasn’t going to work but then they heard a click from the key and the door slammed open. The two children peered out of the door to check if anyone was there but all of the lights were off and within seconds they were running out as fast as they could across the grass towards the shed, which was old and rusty. Juliet was leading the way.
