The Ferret Flyer was recently discovered by Dr.Harrison at Liverpool university last week . He is training to be a zoologist , he is twenty-three years old and is now trying to breed this animal and is running DNA test
This animal is very different from most animals as its tail has a variety of marvellous colours such as rouge ,grass green , royal blue and an apricot for its tail . This is all because of the blood circulation going around the tail . This is called the opolotius system found in only 0.01% of animals . The blood stream starts from the root of the mouth flowing through the back bone all the way down to the tail . Although the blood may look like a deep wine red it is actually a deep royal blue . The circulation helps it glide through the night sky .
These creatures have very thin skin which means they have a skull shaped face . Also , jagged teeth that shine in the moonlight to scare off predators who try to eat them . On places like their gliders , head and tail they have thin white hairs which they use for their five senses and they have mini blades so small that you can only see them under a microscope . Their black beady eyes are actually blue. They grow a new layer of black skin every year to protect their eyes as if their eyes get damaged their blood circulation will fail .
Dr.Harrison has found out that they can only fly during the night as the sun will burn their wings . Also , they need a cool temperature to fly as their blood will get too hot and fail . If they die , their blood will come out and can be used as a medicine to help rashes .
