Chapter 4
Ivy dreamed peacefully. Ivy was led down in a relaxing sunbathing chair loving life seagulls squawked, the waves crashed. Suddenly, an alarming siren went off there was a shark in the water! The shark was out of the water and was coming right for Ivy! It opened its mouth wide and was about to chomp down on poor Ivy.
Then, she woke up startled and screamed at the top of her lungs. It was Chester trying to wake her up. Ivy was still underneath the tree she had fallen asleep under the night before. It was silent as a mouse she had scared all the birds away with her deafening scream. Chester had jumped at was in shock for a few minutes. Chester’s face was all squished from falling over. Ivy let out a little chuckle before helping him up.
“I saw some suspicious looking airship fly by and I think it’s close by, boxes were dropping down attached to a parachute.” Said Chester.
“Lily get up!” Yelled Ivy.
No movement. Ivy shook Lily wildly.
Lily screamed “What!”
“We need to go right now! Quickly.” Shouted back Ivy
Without a moment, Ivy, Lily and Chester ran to the suspicious they saw not a minute ago. Suddenly, they spotted someone so evil it made their back shiver with goose bumps they never wanted to see that witch again! But, there she was. Scarlett. Ivy, Lily and Chester leaped behind a bush while Scarlett turned around. Chester murmured “Ivy, they are getting ready for take-off again we must do it now.”
Sneaking swiftly, Chester bravely guided Ivy and Lily the way. While, Ivy and Lily followed Chester like two sheep and a shepherd they carefully watched Scarlett, sharply. Ivy sweated badly. Not knowing if their plan would work, but Lily reassured her it would work. How could it not? Chester slithered unnoticed he felt like a spy on a mission. He was in the room next to the control room of the aircraft. Scarlett held Ivy’s Mother’s notes in her hand, she let out an evil laugh. As Scarlett walked out, Chester crept in not making a noise. He had the notes! Chester ran out and Lily and Ivy grabbed the note stuffing it into her pocket.
Then, Lily, Ivy and Chester heard muttering so they headed closer and it grew louder for each step they took. It was Mary Ivy’s Mother! She was tied up like a helpless chicken. They untied her and Ivy gave her a massive bear hug but, Ivy realised there were scratches all over her and a gigantic bruise on her forehead. They must’ve dropped her out the airship once they had her notes.
“Ivy, what happened?” asked Mary.
Ivy, Lily and Chester realised she must have forgotten her memory from the fall.
“Nothing mum don’t worry.” Replied Ivy “Let’s go home.”
They walked past villages, magical lakes and rivers, wonderful forests and peaceful boroughs that fluffy rabbits lived in. No clouds in sight but a bright beautiful sky that lasted for miles.
