Chapter three
Chapter three
Paragraph one
Ivy scanned the walls hoping to find something. She tried looking underneath the cellar door maybe somebody was there and saw what happened. Nothing. Lily was sat in the darkest corner of the cellar scrunched up like a paper ball that had been tossed into the bin.
Paragraph two
“Lily are you just going to sit there not helping whatsoever you know!”
“What is the point, you can see we are surrounded by bricks.” Mumbled Lily
“If you don’t get up to help and I find a way out. ON MY OWN. You can ever so sure you’ll be left here to rot!” Argued back Ivy
Lily knew Ivy wouldn’t do that but Lily wasn’t taking any chances. Lily stumbled to her feet in a flash.
Paragraph three
Ivy saw a suspicious carpet and decided to tug it out the way. They both stared flabbergasted. There was a secret passage way! They followed it until it came to a halt, somebody most likely Scarlett had blocked it off using cement there was no way they could break through cement. They walked back the trail they had just followed disappointingly. They thought about how can somebody be so cruel on their way back. When they got back to the depressing cellar they both slumped down and put their hand on their chin mushing their faces.
Paragraph four
Suddenly, hooting noises could be heard from outside of the door.
“Chester is that you?” cried out Ivy
“Yes it’s me! Are you locked in there?” replied Chester
“Yes we are now go grab the key for the door it should be in the kitchen to your left.” “Use it for us to escape and quickly they might come back! Yelled Ivy.
Then the door clicked a few times and creaked open they were free!
Paragraph five
Lily and Ivy sprinted out the manor into the dark while Chester fly behind them. They ran until they couldn’t see the manor no more. Eventually, they decided to pause to catch some air. They sat down sweating like they had just ran a marathon that’s what it felt like anyways. Chester sat on a branch while Lily and Ivy discussed what to do. After some time had passed they had come up with a solution to stay where they were for the night since the sun had started falling while the moon bloomed. The ink sky increased throughout the cold, eerie night.
Paragraph six
Waking up from her slumber, Ivy began to think about how much she missed her mother. A couple tears rolled down her cheek when she remembered how warm her mother was and how kind and loving she was. A few hours later, Ivy’s eyes were sore from rubbing them so much. She had realised Chester had no ticks remaining he lost them through the night and was stood like a statue on the branch above. Once she had got Chester down. Ivy wound him up. While winding him up, Lily woke up there were bags underneath her eyes she must’ve not slept well that night.
