How to look after a baby unicorn Flo-Woodborough

How to look after a baby unicorn

Have you just been given a baby unicorn to look after? Are you wondering how on earth your going to take care of such a magnificent creature? Fear not. Read these instructions and you will be able to raise a baby unicorn to its full standard and develop healthy.

What you need: A nice, comfortable living quarters for it to sleep; play and eat in ( preferably with leaves and shade) A sumptuous, Cosy blanket with added fur inside for extra warmth; water bowl; ice cream ( it’s there favourite) in a bowl; grass and leaves and of course plenty of love and kindness.

What to do:

First, create an enclosed space, preferably inside otherwise your baby unicorn (although an Ice Unicorn ) could have a high risk of freezing. Also it needs to be in an enclosed area because it could run away and never come back again- which means that it would be in a hazardous situation.

Next, provide a soft, cosy blanket for you unicorn to sleep on; also make sure that there is a shaded area with leaves scattered on the floor because most unicorns live in forests or woodland areas. Baby Ice Unicorns often like to play so make sure it has a ball, stuffed toy or rope of some sort.

Then, talk to your unicorn as they love to chat and be with humans. Stroke it gently and  If your lucky and sing it a song it might dance for you! Also make sure it has some sort of entertainment to keep it busy whilst your out eg a fish tank as it likes to imagine its underwater and look at all the fish and make friends.

Also, provide regular water because Ice unicorns become very thirsty. They will also need fresh leaves; grass and ice cream for a basic diet. This will result a very healthy diet for a baby unicorn.

After that, exercise your pet daily by taking it on walks, trips to the park or just a trot around town. However, be very careful that there are no fierce cats or vicious dogs around as that may result to your baby unicorn becoming afraid so afraid it might never go out of the house.

Later on, make the time to play with your baby Ice Unicorn to make sure that your pet doesn’t get board and start to whine.

Finally, to complete the bond scoop your baby unicorn up in your arms and sing to it in a gentle, soft tone then lay it down and turn the radio on quietly in the background while your unicorn baby drifts off to sleep.

Unicorns make wonderful pets but eventually start to get lonely. Consequently, you will have to release your pet into the wild. This will be an upsetting day but if you have treated it well it will return to thank you for raising it.Unicorns are faithful of those who have treated them affectionately.

Unicorn spotted by Flo- Woodborough

Unicorns spotted

Last week, Lottie Bax, 10 years old, saw two unicorns foraging for food and water in Riverwood Forest.

Lottie, who lives in dolphin cottage on the edge of the Forest, was gathering leaves for her school art project when she heard the sound of whinnying form deeper in the forest. She told the Informer that when she peered though the trees, she could see two enormous, flying horses each with a blue, silver horn on its forehead! Miss Bax went on to tell us that they must be a species of flying unicorn. When ‘The Updates informer’ interviewed Lottie yesterday, she told us that she was still feeling very excited but also a little bit distressed. She added that,” Unicorns and flying horses are so rare so it was amazing to see them up close.”

Woodland police have warned all of the locals to be careful when walking in the forest and to tell them immediately if they hear any unusual sounds or of any sightings. Local Unicorn expert, Dr Meadow, told us that from the description that was given, it sounded much like an ice Unicorn ( which is one of the rarest unicorns on earth) and it should be protected greatly. Dr Meadow also told us that a gathering of two unicorns may well mean that they are under threat and everyone should be alert in case dragons, ogres, trolls or giants are planing to attack these wonderful, beautiful, majestic creatures.

The Ice Unicorn

The ice Pegasus, which is a rare type of ice shooting horse, is found in icy-cold grounds. Every Wednesday, unicorn experts assemble on these icy areas to find out more about these ice-flying creatures. During these recent Lockdown times, these 6 foot tall Pegasus’ have become bold and come into towns to get their food. To pedestrians delight, these beautiful horses have been coming from all over the world to parks in local towns and have been playing in outdoor swimming pools and rivers. However, not much is knowing about the ice Unicorn.

The ice Unicorn, which lives on icy grounds on cliff or rock faces, needs to be close to water to survive. They make there homes out of driftwood, grass and pond weed- which they then make a ball out of so they can’t be seen as easily. The nests are made to rear there young. They are hidden on cliffs which means they are hard to find.Ice Pegasi must live near water so it can gain its powers over night. It also likes to run along deserted beaches and drink from the salty sea water.

Would you be able to recognise the ice Unicorn if you saw one? Like most Pegasi, they have a long, dancing mane, a thick, flowing tail and immense, powerful wings. The main feature of this extraordinary creature is its golden horn which has special powers to protect itself from hunters. They have the ability to fly, swim and sing! Amazingly, they have gills like fish so they can breath underwater. This is why they’re often referred to as the’ dolphins of the sky’. Up close, you can see their soft but pointy ears, beautiful, bold eyelashes and their deep purple eyes. Generally, they are an amazing purple-blue  colour which means they are hard to see whilst swimming but do stand out when flying. The majority have shimmering scales under their thick, beautiful fur which keep them warm whilst swimming and fling in winter time. However, a rare minority are mostly covered in deep-blue scales which glimmer in the sunshine.

These beautiful creatures feed off berry trees, bushes and flowers nectar. This means it is a herbivore. The ice Unicorn is especially fond of cloudberries but, if they eat too many they run the risk of turning a strange lime-green colour! They can also live long periods of time without feeding. In this way, Pegasi have frequently been linked to the Flying giraffe-which can exist for days without drinking as they store water in there long necks. The ice Pegasus, which Is able to store food as a layer of fat under its scales, can last for at least a month without eating. This enables it to do long journeys to other faraway lands.

To relax, the ice Pegasus collects Gemstones and they make lots of different collections which are hidden in deep, dark caves near there homes. These treasure stores have in the past been mistaken for the lair of a dragon and thi has led to the ice Unicorn to being hunted. It has been known for doing air acrobatics in the sky as well as singing in the night to practice for unicorn talent shows. The ice Pegasus is a gentle creature which is generally shy but fun-loving. They are easily interested in anything that glitters! They will only become aggressive if they fear their young or themselves are in danger. Of course, their gentle nature can make them easy prey for predators, such as unicorn hunters who have been known for slaughtering these wonderful animals, mistaking them for their close relatives, the Water Pegasus. People are solving the case  to stop hunters and let the Pegasi have a normal life.

Mushroom Dragon

Mushroom Dragon

There are many different breeds of dragon and one of the most interesting is the Mushroom Dragon. The Mushroom Dragon can poison people, from just one little bite to on big bite.

If you’re lucky you could find an Alpha Mushroom Dragon; which is the kindest Dragon you will ever meet! It has the cutest smile ever, the head is pink with blue dots and it has a beautiful sleek white body. However, a normal Mushroom Dragon has a red head, white dots and a creamy coloured body.

Mushroom Dragons like to live in a burrow, which is quite strange as you would think a rabbit lives in a burrow.

In the dark night, three beautiful colours glow from the Mushroom Dragon; it represents that all the Mushroom Dragons are safe and sleeping.

dragon dream

A fierce dragon roaring, its eyes glowing in the reflection.

Its wings are preparing to fly up and down.

The scales on its back are bumpy and rough .

Up ,up, up it goes swaying amongst the  clouds.

Its red bony body up in the sky.

Coming to a land everyone clapping cheering on.

The dragon creeping up to the princess, the princess slowly turning around,

POOF!!!

The dragon is gone!!!

Who knows???

Was it a dream???
