A cold night

A cold night.

Bella (aged twenty) sat down in her cozy house when she noticed the windy storm outside that started to make her house wobble, she hid under the table while she watched the storm go away. When the storm calmed down, she hopped out from under the table, grabbed her jacket and opened the door. Bella saw three things: eye catching waves crashing side to side, an overturned bin at the side of the house and a rubbish strewn bush sitting next to the bin. She walked outside and then she heard a big bang. She turned around to see her door shut on her ; the draft from the door blew back on her. But then she remembered about the lost boy at the start of the week. Will he ever be found? Who will find him? She remembered about her being locked out, so she found a way to get back in but then suddenly in the distance a car engine started…

Chapter 4- What just happened

Chapter 4- What just happened

Violet decided to leave the room and see what everyone was doing.  Sneakily, she opened the door and started to head back down the corridor to find them. But before she did, a Monkey started to chase her and she ended up jumping into the glistening rock pool and swimming right to the bottom, where she found a familiar key that looked like the same size as the key lock on the emporium door. She made her way to the emporium door. She put the key in the door, opened it and realized she was back in the emporium.

“What just happened?” she said.

Chapter 3 – magic is real

Chapter 3- magic is real

In this world, Violet saw: a bright, beautiful butterfly flying in the blue, cloudy sky; a glistening rock pool with sparkly water in it; lots of banana trees with monkeys swinging from them. Violet wondered what had happened.

“Is magic real?” she said nervously.

“It must be,” she said to herself intimidatingly.

There was a long silence before she pinched herself to see if this was real.

“Yep, it is definitely real.” she said as she tried to get the pain away.

Violet turned around and looked outside of the door to see if the rabbit was still there, but it was gone, so she shut the door behind her as she checked one more time to see if anyone was there but there wasn’t anyone, she walked forward and sat on the bench anxiously, as she heard some footsteps coming towards the door.

“Oh no,” she said nervously.

“I need to get out of here,” Violet said quickly.

As quick as she could ran out of the room.

Chapter 2 = The new door

Chapter 2- The new door

Luciano came up to Violet and said, “I am Luciano Gold, I am the owner of the shop”, he said happily.

Violet didn’t know what to say but without a thought she turned to open the book

Luciano moved her hands off the book and said, “Don’t touch the book!”

Violet didn’t care what he said so when Luciano went, she grabbed the book and turned the pages aggressively. Violet saw pictures of jungles, sunsets, seas and beautiful mountains. Violet had a thought to draw in the book but as quickly as she could, she eagerly found a black pen to draw it. She drew a door that said sunset world on it.

Violet saw the man’s pet rabbit that led her to a corridor of doors that had at least 100 of them in it. Violet’s mouth dropped as the rabbit then led her to the door that she had drawn in the book.

“that’s the book I had drawn in my book, “said Violet astonishingly, as she looked around.

She decided to have a look in the room as the rabbit hopped away slowly. Violet stepped into the room quickly as she shut the door behind her. As Violet shut the door behind her, she looked up and down at the room she was in. There was a beautiful sunset, a grassy field, a bench and at the end there was a nice old-fashioned cottage with a brown wooden door connecting to it.

“How did this happen,” she said nervously.

The Emporium of Mysteries

The Emporium of Mysteries

Prologue

There are some places that are boring, old fashioned and untidy, but the emporium of mysteries is mysterious, fun and spooky. And it can be spotted easier in the day and night, it also is very enchanting and cool.

Even though at Christmas and the other celebrations the curtains are shut it doesn’t mean he is never going to open the emporium of mysteries. Even though it is one of the most seen buildings it doesn’t mean he is not alive. Even though it is the quietest building it doesn’t mean he has gone somewhere, and he will never come back. No one until Violet.

Chapter 1-How Violet discovered the emporium of mysteries.

Violet had always wanted to go into an interesting shop that had lots of amazing things. Her family often warned her not to go anywhere without asking. One pretty morning, Violet was walking down the road with her mum when she noticed there was a new shop with a massive sign hanging above saying the emporium of mysteries. She noticed the door was slightly open so when her mum was in a different shop she slipped into the Emporium of Mysteries.

She pushed the heavy door open and when she put one foot on the carpet all she could see were beautiful objects stacked up in rows or stacked up as tall as a tower. Violet wanted to touch everything, even the things that she doesn’t even like she was amazed at everything. There were delicate China dolls, golden statues of birds, fluffy teddy bears, colorful lights and a display of old dusty books. Violet looked everywhere, she wished that she had a shop like this. As she finished looking around, she remembered that she could not see the owner of the shop, so she went up to the till and went,

“Hello, is anybody there?” she said softly.

She decided to start to head out of the shop since her mum was probably worried sick about her but before she went, she heard somebody say, “Who is in my shop?” explained the man worryingly.

He walked through the back of the room, Violet jumped. He walked slowly with a rat in his hand “It’s, it’s a shop why can’t I be in it,” she said nervously.

“Because it’s closed,” he said disappointingly. His eyes shined like diamonds, but the rat looked at me disapprovingly. I felt as though a ghost had walked in the room, as the temperature dropped suddenly. I glanced over to the back of the counter and in one of the dep drawers sat a dusty dog- eared book called The Book of Mystical Facts. My eyes seemed to be locked on the book and I couldn’t look away.
