The Door

Go and open the red door,

a scarlet coloured pen is writing in an extraordinary font while

an erupting volcano is heading to a innocent country or

an everlasting field of poppies with an adult planting roses.

Go and open the orange door,

maybe there is a basketball bouncing on the barren ground or

the sun rising in Rome while campers are roasting marshmallows on a fire.

Go and open the yellow door,

maybe you’ll find stars twinkling in the night sky,

daffodils growing in my beautifully tenured garden and a fierce tiger prepared to

strike his greatest enemy.

Go and open the green door,

maybe lime juice will be bitter on your tongue like an old dirty lake or

a cactus waiting for his best friend in the Sahara Desert when frogs are jumping from lily pad to lily pad,

Go and open the blue door,

maybe the Pacific Ocean will say goodnight to Mount Everest or

a diver will free dive in the deep azure sea and aliens will invade every planet with only

Neptune to survive.

The magical mansion

In the room of footballers,

Messi megged Ronaldo.

In the room of monkeys,

they swung from tree to tree.

In the room of people

I met the terrific Tim Thomas.

In the room of gymnastics,

I saw Rebbeca Red do a quadruple backflip.

In the room of quiet,

The crowd shouted quietly.

I want to Paint

I want to paint the ferocious sun that roars in the day sky, rushing around the world like a carousel;

I want to paint blank paper, so I can watch the ink sprawling out of the center.

The sound of people in a busy city evacuating from a volcano.

Or the blue sky, turning into a blood red heaven with dark grey clouds.

Even though painting a deep cavern pitch black, with hints of purple would be fun,

I would rather paint a falcon, bright green with an outstanding pink head and feathery blue wings.

I want to paint a sloth with bright yellow eyes, sluggishly moving through the jungle.

Should dragons be captured?

Should dragons be captured?

We  have been considering if dragons should be captured. This is a hot topic because there are fire dragons living in our local area and people are scared.

Many people think that dragons should be captured because they burned cows, ate the  solar system with Saturn left to survive. Furthermore, when fire dragons get angry they can spit out 1957 degrees of skin-burning fire! Moreover we are currently planting 1,000,000 crops like carrots, potatoes and many more which the fire dragon might burn- making us travel many miles up north to find a new place to plant.

On the other hand, some people think that the fire dragons should live in our local area because currently all the firemen are injured so we might need a back-up. Additionally, we will have a hot summer day whenever we want as the dragon absorbs heat from the sun and vomits it out.

I have made a conclusion, having gathered all the information, I believe we should attempt to live with them. My main reason for this is that in winter the streets are frozen and the scarlet red fire dragon could melt it so cars can drive away from an horrific goblin attack.

The lightning dragon by Rocco

Throughout history, there are different types of  dragons like: the snow dragon , the fire dragon and the storm dragon. The most interesting one is the lightning dragon. It camouflages in the coral reef.

If  you would dive into the sea do you think you would find it? In fact some dragons are similar to others, some are dangerous and some are friendly but this one is one of a kind. This one has teeth made from lightning bolts which help him electrocute the fish when they are alive! It has a lightning bolt tail that helps him to attack his greatest enemy. His wings assist him to swiftly flow through the water. The skin is very poisonous( he has different colours like: pitch black, vibrant green, scarlet red and navy blue). You could get different diseases if you touch it. His black horns hypnotise fishes so they are easier to eat.

No one knows where the lightning dragon lives in the because he doesn’t like the cold water but in the summer he lives in the deep sea of Narnia. Suprisingly, he is the only dragon in the sea!

Are they dangerous? Many people think that they are deadly because they kill many people over the years so if you try to fight the dragon think twice.

Tony & Crusty’s adventure contd…by Rocco

The baby dragon was badly injured on his wings; Tony got Crusty the bandages he needed to wrap them so they could rest.

Episode 4 -” Onward “

A few hours later, the crew set off in the skyship, everything was ready and prepared to start their way back home. Luckily, Tony could manage to find some space where the baby dragon ate and rested straight after.

Captain Crusty was alone on the deck, wondering if their way back would have been smoother than when they landed, during the meteorite’s war.

He looked at the sky and admired how sparkling it appeared, the amount of luminous stars gave him a peaceful sensation. He felt confident that everything would have been fine.

All of a sudden, his positive thoughts broke into the reality of an odd metallic noise coming from right in front of his eyes. He couldn’t believe that this was happening again to them!

Tony rushed to the deck, terrified and disbelieved. Alone, they waited, hearts pounding in frustration and fear. What more could it be now?

The metallic sound was getting louder and closer. Crusty’s eyes widened, a long narrow shape was lengthening towards them, he was perplexed and whispered to Tony “ I’m not sure…It looks like a ladder !”

Tony got closer, shockingly laughed “ That’s the Magical Exit Rail. The legend says that if you are brave and generous, something extraordinary would happen “.

It must have been their lucky day.

Tony & Crusty’s adventure contd…by Rocco

“Let’s return to the skyship” commanded captain Crusty, realizing that the sun was slowly falling asleep and the pale grey moon appeared in the sky.

He knew they would have taken about 25 minutes to walk back so they decided to approach immediately.

Eventually, the darkness came all around them, the pale moon became a majestic bright big balloon that lit their way.

Tony and Crusty had just approached their skyship when they heard an unusual sound coming from the engine, the exact same sound they experienced when they landed.

Episode 3 – ‘New Crew Member’

Tony, who was the first to panic so much that his heart bounced as loudly as the drumsticks during a rock concert, backed away and hid in the cockpit but Crusty bravely hurried down to the engine area to check from what or who that noise came from and if it could have done any damage.

Crusty’s heart sank, it was a baby dragon! His eyes were as blue as the Pacific Ocean’s water and the skin was as rough as an Hawaiian volcano’s rock. Shockingly, he was trapped in the engine. His little legs were twisted around the chain belt and his wings had inflamed little holes due to the high temperature. The baby dragon was really hurt so Crusty helped him up and carried him to the First Aid cabin of their skyship. He was very concerned about his bruises and he asked Tony to get him some bandages.

Tony & Crusty’s adventure contd…by Rocco

“ Brace yourself Tony! We are about to touch the surface “ Captain Crusty loudly exclaimed.

Suddenly, a grinding, creaking noise came from the engine causing the skyship to lose control for a couple of seconds but, in a blink of an eye, Tony and Captain Crusty found themselves diving through the snowy soft clouds. Crunchy crystalline snow was falling down from the white sky like a magical dance in a colossal theatre.

Episode 2 – ‘The Skyship Lands’

Tony was petrified and kept his eyes closed even after they touched the ground, as if he was still waiting for something horrifying to happen.

Underneath their skyship, a baby dragon was trapped in the engine; he looked wintry and immobile like an iceberg.

Crusty was nonplussed by the vision of what surrounded them…they landed on a mysterious glacial lake.

All around, the silence was deafening, nearly scaring them even more; they could only perceive the sound of their terrified breaths.

Inspecting from right to left and from up to down, they didn’t notice any particular difference, the grey colour of the sky was perfectly absorbed by the frozen water behind them.

Without warning, they could hear an odd sound coming from the distance but they weren’t able to identify where exactly it was coming from.

Crusty jumped in fear, he felt too frightened to go to check what just happened.

Tony, on the other hand, was very intrigued to find out more about that noise so he convinced his Captain to leave the skyship and go to explore.

Walking on the glacial lake, they both realised that it wasn’t as scary as they imagined. After 1.5 miles they saw something in the distance, it seemed to be 3 nanoscopic goblins with some strange clothes.

A couple of miles in, they reached a neglected little town and the weird goblins they noticed before were actually gigantic.

Tony & Crusty’s adventure By Rocco

Only one week had passed by when Tony and Crusty, his loyal monkey, left the Earth to explore the unpredictable space.

“ Tony, listen…what’s that sound?? “ Crusty whispered.

Unexpectedly, countless meteoroids cut the deep sky like knives being thrown in a galactic war.

Tony and Crusty seemed petrified and shell-shocked from the brightness of the trail left behind them.

Their skyship started to dance violently from side to side but, surprisingly, it didn’t get hit.

Nearly blinded by the light, they couldn’t see anything around them and, without warning, a huge, fire-breathing, dirty, dragon appeared in front of them.

“ Is he looking for shelter? “ they wondered.

For a moment, they thought they were going to be attacked but, out of the blue, Crusty got a genius idea, “TRUST ME,” he said and directed them to a hidden spot behind an unknown planet.

Many people believe that, in that precise moment, Crusty became the leader of their adventure…
