ON TUESDAY, I WALKED TO A ANCIENT BRIDGE FROM 1,000 YEARS AGO, THE WATER-LANE UNDERNEATH GLISTENED LIKE DIAMONDS.

ON WEDNESDAY, I TOUCHED THE LEATHER-LIKE FUR OF

A NUT STEALER. OH HIS CHEEKY GRIN WAS LIKE

HEAVEN WRAPPED UP.

ON THURSDAY, I TASTED THE BITTER, SWEETNESS OF

THE MOST PECULIAR PUFF-BALL MUSHROOM.

ON FRIDAY, I SAW A SEA OF BLUEBELLS. IT’S

GLAMOUR AND WONDER I COULD DIVE INTO.

ON SATURDAY I HEARD AN OWL HOOT LIKE A PACK

OF WILD DOGS WAILING.

ON SUNDAY, I SAW A FOX WITH FLAMES FOR FUR,

SO SILKY SMOOTH LIKE SNOW FLAKES.

Lost forest

On Monday, I found a wonderful ruby-red ladybug climbing onto a beautiful bluebell.

On Tuesday, I heard a calm stream with a stick swishing by the rock.

On Wednesday, I saw a beautiful shiny beetle crawling onto a stinging nettle.

On Thursday, I dream there is a breeze settling onto an emerald and amber mossy log.

On Friday, I saw a cloud gliding in the sky as white as a piece of paper.

On Saturday, I found a tall oak tree stretching up to the turquoise shimmering sky.

On Sunday, I touched the chilly water in the stream as cold as a block of ice.

The lost world

On Monday, I find pixies swaying gently in the wind like helicopter seeds starting to fall.

On Tuesday, I walked further into the woods and there were mice scuttling around on the ground like tip-toeing ballerinas.

On Wednesday, I saw a baby – blue dragon swimming gracefully in a glistening,still stream as it swayed from side to side like a happy cat.

On Thursday, I touched a strong ,silent buzzard as it landed as brave as a wolf on a nearby rock.

On Friday, I captured a delicate ,sparkly fairy as she was carelessly gathering red mushrooms.

On Saturday, I heard the deep ,blood-shot moan of the biggest ,meanest human – eaters in the vast woodland.

On Sunday, I dreamed of small ,orange foxes slinking carefully back to their charming burrow deep underground.

Lost objects

On Monday, I noticed a loud, rare woodpecker pecking on a monumental oak tree as big as a giant.

On Tuesday, I found a mottled-brown buzzard’s feather carelessly left behind,resting
calmly on the olive-green grass.

On Wednesday, I walked to Mulfra Quoit and saw the biggest, angriest adder peering curiously at me from a crack in a dark cave.

On Thursday, I touched the smallest,chunkiest mushroom standing proudly with its giant family of other mushrooms.

On Friday, I heard the wild, strong wind dancing and howling in the baby blue sky.

On Saturday, I tasted the tallest ,smelliest wild garlic and it tasted as good as the richest garlic bread.

On Sunday, I dreamed of the prettiest flower calmly blowing in the breeze like a dancer dancing to a song.

Hidden nature in trevaylor

On Monday, I saw snow-white clouds shifting with spirals like the curling trail of a snail.

On Tuesday, I touched the bark of an old oak tree waiting patiently for young oak trees to join him.

On Wednesday, I heard a woodpecker pounding fiercely on the wood of a beech tree.

On Thursday, I gathered bluebells, daisies and forget-me-nots in a posey fit for a royal family.

On Friday, I walked beside the stream flowing as gracefully as a dancer.

On Saturday, I discovered an old oak as tall as the Empire State Building.

On Sunday, I watched the leaves of a sycamore tree falling peacefully like a water droplet dripping from a leaf.

ON MONDAY, I SAW A LITTLE BLUE FORGET- ME-NOT SMILING LIKE A CHILD ON A HOT SUMMERS DAY, PERCHING ON THE BRIM OF AN ANCIENT WALL, LYING IN THE BLAZING SUN.

ON TUESDAY, I HEARD A SWEET BUT QUIET PECKING OF A YOUNG AND NAIVE WOOD PECKER DRUMMING AWAY AT AN OLD OAK TREE WHICH STOOD TALL LIKE THE KING OF THE WOODS.

ON WEDNESDAY, I TOUCHED A SOFT CURLED – UP DANDELION WAITING PATIENTLY ON THE DEWEY, GREEN GRASS PREPARING TO BLOOM FOR THE SUMMER.

ON THURSDAY, I SMELT THE STRONG PERFUME AS SWEET AS A HONEYCOMB OF A LARGE FIELD OF BLUEBELLS SWAYING IN THE GENTLE BREEZE.

ON FRIDAY, I TASTED THE MOST DELICIOUS BLACKBERRY YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE – SWEET BUT SOUR I COULD EAT THEM ALL DAY.

ON SATURDAY, I DREAMT OF BUZZARDS GLIDING HIGH OVER MY HEAD, SWALLOWS DIPPING AND DIVING IN THE AIR AND SMALL, CUTE ROBINS PERCHING ON THE END OF AN OLD BATTERED FENCE.

ON SUNDAY, I WALKED THROUGH THE WOODS AND SAW A GREAT BIG BEECH TREE-ITS ROOTS ASCENDED FROM THE GROUND.

Unnoticed nature in Trevaylor woods

On Monday, I saw white clouds gliding smoothly through the warm summer air.

On Tuesday, I walked to a fast flowing water-path as clear as the sea on a scolding summer day.

On Wednesday, I found a fuzzy bumble bee buzzing silently in the big blue sky.

On Thursday, I touched a green, textured leaf dancing with the wind.

On Friday, I noticed a small mischievous rabbit hopping back-and-forth energetically.

On Saturday, I heard a buzzard mewing loudly like a siren.

On Sunday, I wondered at a small sparkling pixie flying peacefully around.

Undiscovered

On Monday, I saw a tiny twirling beech tree, as happy as can, be smiling at anyone who wanted to see.

On Tuesday, I heard the pitter pattern of a speckled light brown woodlouse silently chatting to her friend.

On Wednesday, I glimpsed the sharp-tongued spiteful nettle plant as sour as a lemon.

On Thursday, I tasted the silky-soft blowing wind swirling around my lungs.

On Friday, I touched the chocolate-coated,brown bark of the twisting, twirling sycamore tree worn like nature’s dress.

On Saturday, I dreamed of the biggest emerald-green, sapphire-blue and ruby-red butterflies fluttering from flower to flower, with a spring in every beat of wings.

On Sunday, I walked to the magic dell where the unicorns, fairies and magical creatures play.

On Monday, saw a black and tue jay waiting for its speckled eggs as turquoise as the ocean to hatch.

On Wednesday, F skimmed a smooth stone across the stretched stream like a frog jumping from Lilly to Lilly

On Thursday, I dipped my hand in the river and felt a flickering fish.

On Friday, Isaw my house watching as Swalked into the woods down in the valley

On Saturday, I san a small shrew spider Snuffle along to hidden home.

On Sunday, I dreamt of being a fox in a large pack running far and swift.

On Monday, I found a mushroom growing in front a grand oak tree tall enough to reach the sky.

On Tuesday, I went in a stream with beautiful gleaming pebbles like gold coins.

On Wednesday, I found a mysterious iridescent feather lying on the forest floor waiting to be found.

On Thursday, I talked to the tress and they whispered back an ancient code to my path.

On Saturday, I played hide and seek in the dense woodland with my friends as the forest creatures slipped away.

On Friday, I felt the padded moss underneath my palm as soft as a fox’s fur.

On Sunday, I dreamed of the swaying trees the rushing river and the swift wind.
