what is…? by AP

What are…?

What are shiny? A silver serpent sliding in the sun. A brand new wedding ring carrying all the love and happiness you cherish.

What is unkind?  An evil Sister in a horrid terrifying bad mood! A vampire breaking out of a coffin coming to chase you for your blood.

What is sad? Me not having a fluffy cat. And me not loving a gigantic teddy bear.

What is… CW

What is quiet? The whistle of the howling wind at midnight, a mouse squeaking as it runs away from a mouth licking cat.

What is rare? Manchester United getting relegated, the almighty Southampton winning the premier league and the Champions League.

What is Large? A blood thirsty beast chasseing it’s pray, a child playing on the playground of his school.

What is fragile? A shattering plate hitting the glistening floor, an air fix WW2 plane falling through the sealing getting shot in mid-air.

What is easily lost? A mouse getting trapped in its little hole, a 1p getting stuck in the car door and a piece of blutak getting stu9ck to a classroom table.

What is sad? A hungry baby crying for its food.

What is stressful? A person in an elevator bragging about her ‘perfect life.’

What is happy? When it’s your birthday and your friend pops up out of nowhere and you have a great day

What is relieving? When you have had a long day at work and when you get home you have a nice relaxing bath.

What is heavy? When you get into big trouble and now you have a weight on your shoulders.

What is hot? When your mum runs a bath for you and it is steaming scorching.

When you realise unscrupulous news was actually good news, however comprehending that it was remarkable news, and a calming rainy day reading an extraordinary book.

What is fragile?

Transparent glass standing on a wall waiting to be put into the clean frame of a window, china dolls standing in solitude on ancient wood.

What is brave?
The kind soldiers of both wars, people in the army, and warriors to protect our country,

What is upsetting?

When your friend is ill, and you won’t see them for a while, when you see someone all alone, and when you see a poor homeless person

What are……. by MM- Bishops Cannings

What are loud? A whale’s huge splash into the ocean, a baby’s cries and a plate shattering on the ground.

What are quiet? Snowflakes falling, an enjoyable dream and exciting thoughts.

What are hard? A big rock, long division songs and trains curvy tracks.

What are soft? Steamy melted butter, my dog Jessie’s fur and a petal slowly falling.

What are hot? An emerald green dragon’s breath, water that has just came out of a kettle and a heated argument between 2 people.

What are cold? Ice sliding down your back, a snowman’s heart and ice-cream that had just come out the freezer.

What are light? A wedding ring, pride, and a piece of paper.

F.N Poem

What is easy to lose?

My mum’s miniature red car keys that beep every time we lock our car, my silver shiny chained necklace  and a thin, small straw that gets lost in the grey, huge cupboard.

What is pretty?

A golden, yellow sunflower that blows around in a circle when it’s very windy like a hurricane, a small, fast butterfly that fly’s around in a great ginormous  crowd and a sparkling, fresh  flowers in the flesh, grass.

What is heavy?

A over – weight, massive oil tanker that runs through Cardiff, a gargantuan pylon that crackles like a witch that’s evilly creepy , a great massive monster that has a skinny little cat that could hiss like a snake.

What is skinny?

A skinny little cat that purrs quietly because it lives with a great big and tall troll that want’s to eat the old cat that, and a skinny, little door mouse that squeaks quietly in the great cave of tiny trolls.

Big Ben

What are heavy?

A pointy, golden pyramid in dusty Egypt, the massive, brown Big Ben which is in the busy London and a great, pale temple in the old, ancient Greece.

What is light?

A feather floating gracefully down the bumpy, green hill,  the pointy pencil rolling off the massive, blue table and a piece of thin paper being written on by the black handwriting pen.

What is small?

A long, pink fingernail on a world record holder’s hand, a candle light flickering in the cold, dark night in the middle of December and a coconut falling from the tall, green pine tree.

What is big?

A massive, tall church that blesses small children that are new to a school, a huge, red double decker bus that drops of patient passengers to their destination and a grey elephant striding across the flat savanna.

What is shiny?

A green, shiny emerald in the deep, dark cave, a square piece of glistening glass in my humble house and a diamond shining in a glass cube in the national museum.

A Sandy Pyramid

A Sandy Pyramid

What are big?

A gargantuan school coach driving students to school, the bright, yellow sun beaming down on the people at the beach and an Egyptian pyramid in the middle of the extremely hot dessert.

What are small?

A diminutive bread crumb quickly falling to the ground, a tiny hay mouse crawling slowly past a vicious farmer and half a tiny raisin slipping down someone’s throat.

What are heavy?

Someone’s house breaking into a million pieces, a jeep driving across the muddy swamp and Big Ben ringing loudly across London as if it’s used to doing it.

What is light?

A piece of extensive, blonde hair, a feather falling gracefully through the wind and a green, clump of grass in the wildflower meadow.

What is hot?

Bright red Mars shinning in the gloomy night like a massive star, the sun beaming down on the smooth sand and a seat warmer in the car like a toasted marshmallow.

What is cold?

A soft pillow when you turn it over, my dad’s freezer in the warm kitchen and a snowy day in the winter.

What is skinny?

A piece of thin, white paper in my mum’s office, a ruler in the box of stationary and a bit of hair on a human’s scalp.

What is thick?

A castle’s grey walls over lapping the mountain, a volcano erupting after a huge storm and a year 4 classroom with tons of people in it.

The Chilliness Of Winter.

What is pretty? A blooming bluebell that carefully brushes in the breeze of the wind, the beautiful sound of a grand, charming piano that plays wonderfully and the rush of excitement that makes you recklessly shiver.

What is repulsive? A screeching, loud voice that makes your ears bleed, a shiny, golden trumpet when it goes terribly off key and an annoying mountain troll that howls tremendously.

What is hot? A fiery flame that can spookily burn you in a forging flash, a spicy, ghost pepper that makes your mouth sore in one tiny bite and the boiling sun that’s as hot as a frightful fire.

What is cold? A freezing snowman’s heart that is as frozen as a chilly ice cube, a frail snowflake that slowly floats to the puffed, snowy ground and the chilliness of a frantic day in the amazing Antarctica.
