My letter to Mum

My Letter To Mum

Dear Mum…

Life in Canada is great! Patches is being good, as always. My last home in Japan was destroyed because of Mr ******. I Hate Him! Anyways, Vicky and Clover came with me! We have a nice cobblestone house with black wood on the upper floor. It really feels like home.

I got to feed our new reindeer, Ethan! I even got to ride him afterwards! He doesn’t fly though. Clover picked on me all week after that. I hope dad is ok. How are Luce and Jason? I hope they are doing well. Have you heard from dad yet? I miss him.

I really miss you. I will keep writing to you! Promise! I loved your letter from the last time I wrote to you. I know you will probably say no, but do you and the others want to come here? The armys don’t know about this country yet, so we are safe. I hope you and the others are doing well (Tell me if dad writes)!

The Cerberus. Chap 3.

The Cerberus. Chap 3.

Months had passed since Tango passed away, now, Aphrodite believes that her ghost roams the forest, keeping away intruders. Now, ever since a Volcanic eruption drove all creatures away from an unknown island, dinosaurs had started to roam around the world. Aphrodite had found a deinonychus egg and kept it until it was full size. It understood her voice and would attack anyone or anything that a certain laser points at. The deinonychus was a female and had been named Zulu, as a certain spot on the long, black stripes running down her sides looks like a Z. One day, when Aphrodite was going to give Zulu some food, she heard two screeches. One was Zulu’s and the other, she realised, was that of a velociraptor… There was going to be a fight.

As Aphrodite wandered through the deep forest, a low grumble sparked her attention, a long, fluffy tail poked out through some trees and then lifted and kept moving.

Aphrodite wished she had stayed back because when she followed the large tail, it spun around and she was left facing a giant, three headed dog. It had eyes more violent than fire, and claws as sharp as grenade fragments. All three heads turned to face her and snarled vigorously. Aphrodite fell back against a large spruce tree and stared in shock as it stepped forward. And again. And again. It was face to face with her now.

It started sniffing her and giving her the occasional lick, and Aphrodite didn’t move so as not to aggravate the creature. Then she spoke. “My name is Tango, I am the Cerberus of the forest.” Tango’s words left Aphrodite in shock. It could speak?! She leapt into a large bridge of vines as the Cerberus barked another few words. It started to follow her. She noticed a deep ravine at the end of the nest of vines. Then it struck her. She was stuck.

While Aphrodite struggled furiously with the vines, Tango was getting closer. She could feel the hot breath on her ankles as she crawled through the dangling vines. Suddenly, Aphrodite realised that the giant Cerberus had already grappled its teeth on her leg.

She was getting ready to feel immense pain as she was being dragged back through the nest of vines, when suddenly, she landed on hard ground. Tango barked in delight as she licked her. Suddenly, Aphrodite heard a low growl….

A new pair of amber eyes appeared, and Aphrodite was almost in shock at the sight of the newcomer. A hydra. Tango rushed past Aphrodite and swiped her claws at the hydra. As Aphrodite watched the fight break loose, Tango suddenly lost her footing and fell from the nest of vines. She had landed on her back and was panting heavily. The hydra was about to latch its teeth onto her, when a torch of fire was shoved in the way of it. The fear of fire was enough to make Tango get up and move back to Aphrodite’s side.

The fire reflected in the hydra’s eyes and it stepped back towards the ravine. But as it took another step, Aphrodite heard a loud yowl, and then a splash. It had fallen. As she thanked the torch holder,

Tango had decided to start hunting a nearby deer. She made the catch and the two walked back to the forest by the village.

My anxiety

My Anxiety can…

My Anxiety can pierce the strongest soul,

It can harm the bulletproof human,

It could defeat the strongest beast.

And it can burst into a bitter tear.

My Anxiety can spark the strongest sorrow,

It can awaken the darkest shadows,

It could twist all happiness to it’s doom,

And it could create any fear.

My Anxiety can darken the lightest substance,

It can deprive all joy,

It could make you feel crazy,

And it could seem very real.

My Anxiety can strike fear.

The Ship of Treasure

The Ship of Treasure

Coins jumped from rock to rock, as water splashed around them. The dark, murky riverbed released diamond after diamond, while necklaces harnessed themselves on to the hull of the ship. The souls of past pets howled and growled on the deck as the ship of treasures sailed solemnly along the gargantuan waves. The engraved emerald that symbolised midnight, slowly faded into a shimmering ruby, symbolising dawn. Souls of cats chased after pesky soul rats as light came into view. All dark shadows hid from the sun, staying in compact corners.

The Catamander. Chapter 2.

The Catamander.

|~| Chapter 2! |~|

I didn’t know what to do. ‘What is she on about?’ I thought. “What do you mean? What did you see? What is really big?” I stated. I panicked. I thought of something on our menu that matched the description. “Ummmm… Do you mean the pumpkin spice latte supreme?” I must have sounded like a complete fool to other people because she looked at me, more panicked and scared. “Look, I’m talking about the catamander, you know, the rare one, blueish-grey fur, blue eyes, it saw me and now it’s hunting me down! Please hide me!” something in her tone of voice made me shudder. She was serious. “Actually, can I have a drink? I’m thirsty.”

Her tone now sounded nervous and I said sure. I made her a regular pumpkin spice latte and gave her a cookie with it.

The Catamander.

The Catamander.

The catamander is a solitary creature, being known for  its long, fluffy tail. It lives in the rocky mountains and fights its own kind for every scrap of food.

It will eat things like mice, small birds and fish. It is very fast and can jump 30ft in the air.

Catamanders usually have pale ginger or grey and white tabby fur. Rarely, you will find a pale, blueish grey and white tabby. They normally have bright orange eyes. Sometimes, they have luminous, blue eyes.

Catamanders are day hunters, as prey will come out more to eat and drink.

Diary Entry.

Diary Entry.

One evening I decided to take my friend’s dog out for a little walk along the beach. The name of the dog was Emmie. Emmie was a big german shepherd and she was very pretty. We decided to start heading towards Whitsand bay in the gloomy night.

We finally arrived at Whitsand bay and I let Emmie off the lead. She immediately started rummaging through bins and went for a swim. Moments later, she came running up to me, her tail between her legs. She hid behind me only for me to find why she was so scared.

A large, scaly creature arose from the dark water, growling and gurgling. Emmie eventually overcame her fear of the creature and snarled back. The monster seemed stunned and turned and went back to the water. Without looking behind me, me and Emmie ran home. Both of us were scared but my friend sat us both down and gave me a cup of hot chocolate and gave Emmie a treat and some water.
