Snow falls down like confetti,
Creating a white glistening blanket,
That covers the rolling hills.
The gentle glow of fire emerges in the distance,
The aroma of hot chocolate swirls in the air,
Presents sit patiently covered in silky paper.
Evergreen trees sway gently,
whilst whistling wind wonders wildly,
Through out Christmas eve.
But not next door there outside playing.
