Crisp leaves fall like flies-

Rainbows of fireworks

Burst out to light up the sky

Frozen puddles

Suspended in a slice

Of cold time

Frosted grass glistens

Like glass splinters

Shining like stars

Paper white snow drifts

Over cities

Blanketing them
