You are a cute puppy

with tiny little paws.

You are a favourite picture

hung on the wall.

You are a bright light

protecting me from the dark.

You are the smell of a bottle of coke

with bubbles going up my nose.

You are the sound of my best friend

but you don’t look like him.

You are a memory of my first German Shepherd

because of your black and brown fur.
