Sam’s head hurt, he realised he was on the ground and a bit dazed. Amilia was already sat up and looking around. “Where are we?” she puzzled  

“In the jungle silly!” answered Sam but he was wrong; they were up on the deck of the sky ship! Amilia then felt a little tickling on her ankles, it was a tiny little, blue, and grey, field mouse!  

Amilia, whose blonde hair fell over her shoulders, scooped it up in her hands, it was shivering uncontrollably. “I’ll call it Jerry!” said Amilia. 

 “Poor little thing!” murmured Sam, who struggled up and wobbled into the cabin to borrow the captain’s hot water bottle for the mouse, Jerry.  “Captain Alice won’t mind!” Sam said, scrabbling around in the locker.
