The Raptor dragon.

Did you know the Raptor has ten legs? They are old, decrepit, are 10-12 metres long and are only used to fight and to catch its prey. It’s eyes are used for glaring into its preys eyes to hypnotise it so it can eat it. The wings ,which are made from dragons fire, aren’t used that much. They are only used to catch its prey and to run away from bigger animals. The wings are actually the most important part of the Raptor itself without the wings the Raptor can’t get to its favourite prey the Crabetaric.

The Crabetaric is the Raptors favourite prey it eats grass, and is hard to catch so that is one of the reasons it wants to try and catch it so it can have a reward when it is caught. Placed in the Raptors mouth is fangs sharper than 10 knifes used to pierce through the skin of its prey. The Raptor hunts night and day and that is why it is almost extinct, when it hunts it never gets the food because it is so tired. It eats lots of different animals differently using its proboscis. After it has fully digested all of its prey it doesn’t run like most of the other animals it stays in the exact position waiting for all the other animals. The Raptor eats meat and drinks milks , which are good for its lungs.

The Raptor has a green and red rings around its neck used to burn its prey its also used to make the fire on its wings to scare the other animals away. The Raptor only has six veins in its body the fire doesn’t burn it. It has eight eyes including two on its forehead and one in its mouth the eye balls are used for seeing its predator miles away.

The Raptor can fit in small places such as: trees, tubes and holes in the ground.

Strangely, because it can fit in small places it can’t fit in large spaces so if one of its prey went into a tree it could kill it but if it went into a cave it wouldn’t be able to kill it. Weirdly, the Raptor likes were it lives so it normally stays there for a long time so it doesn’t get that much food. The Raptor dragon hates beetles and that is the only thing that lives in the trees.

The Raptors strengths are very different to other dragons. It can still fly like other dragons but other dragons cant breath fire, smoke and ice but the Raptor can. The Raptor uses these strengths very well. Here’s how they use them. When the Raptors prey is near it freezes all around itself so it can be safe. If its prey manages to get into the middle of the ice were the Raptor is the Raptor will burn it with fire and then smoke everywhere so they can’t see.

Then it will use fire to melt its ice and make it water so it can wash out its prey.
