Sky Dancer part 2
Dan leapt out with his parachute just in time. He stared at surroundings when he landed. He was in the dragon lands…
Before he had a chance to fully see his surroundings, a baby sky dragon slammed into his back sending him tumbling. Dan whipped out his diamond grappling hook and swung it at the dragon repeatedly until, finally, it struck the dragon, causing it to roared in pain whilst limping through the air. He tucked the hook into his belt and managed to get a proper look at the dragon lands.
It was a huge red-sand desert! The smell of baked plants filled his nostrils. There were arches bigger than sky-scrapers, cliffs bigger than any he had seen on the Sky Dancer and finally the thing he had been looking for: the ship, it was stuck under an arch.
Dan raced past towers of sandstone and scared lizards, heading to the sky ship. As he raced past, a bearded dragon began spreading its beard and opening it’s mouth aggressively. Running as fast as he could, Dan ignored a stitch and, twenty minutes later, reached the Sky Dancer. It was a ruin. We would need an awful lot of wood, stone and metal.
Back on the Sky Dancer, Dan found Sophie and the crew, they agreed to split up to find materials to mend the ship. It was Dan and Sophie’s job to find metal. The Captain and four others needed to find wood, and the other six needed to find stone.
Sophie had no idea how they were supposed to find metal in a desert but then, suddenly, Dan spotted a glint of silver under a rock. They ran to it and found a whole cave filled with gold and silver. They filled their sacks with the as much metal as they could and began heading out of the cave, leaving the rest of the mountainous pile behind. Suddenly a roar sounded from inside the remains of the pile of metal. A crimson eye opened and a monstrous head emerged from the pile. A dragon.
