Sam stood frozen to the spot unable to move for fear that what ever it was was not friendly the grown turned to a week yell to a high pitched scream for help. Sam glanced at Charlie for guidance; being the older and more audacious of the pair Charlie shuffled cautiously toward the edge of the wrecked sky ship, peered over the side, and glanced down to see a man with a captain’s  hat and grey hair tied in a bun laying on the sand below covered in pints of blood coming from a morbid looking gash on his chest that had stained most of what would have been his smart looking captain uniform. His eyes ,which were open, looked glassy, cartoonish and terrified. Charlie supressed a high pitched shriek and stumbled backward. looking scared Charlie glanced back at Sam and exclaimed “It’s a man and he is injured!”

using their combined strength the two girls lifted the mans body on the wrecked ship the man who they would later find goes by the name Captain Dogbottom he a captain of a ship called lamplight which was on it’s way to Australia when a frightful storm set the ship of course little did the crew know that the storm had put a hole through the side of the ship. later the crew evacuated the lamplight and captain Dogbottom was lucky enough to find refuge on this sunny island which he believed to be in the middle  Pacific ocean.

Captain Dogbottom soon became a faithful member of the crew and when he became well enough began to help the girls in repairing the sky ship but could there be something more sinister hiding under the surface…
