The Room of Seas

As I stand inside the room of seas,

I feel the warm sun with a hint of breeze.

I see crabs scurry along before the shore,

There is wonder here beyond the door.

As I start to swim my feet become flippers,

Starfish cling on to me like giant clippers.

Dolphins dance while on their tails,

Leaving behind the sun’s glittering trails.

When the sea is calm, the water is clearer,

It looks like fish below seem nearer.

But when seas are rough inside a storm,

It can be tough to keep on swimming (especially when it is not warm).

There are creatures here that are big and small,

From kayaks to cruises that top them all.

When you reach beyond the deep,

You will find ferocious sharks with giant teeth.

At night when the sea starts to snore,

Jellyfish glide just beyond the shore.

Whales will sing silent songs.

They make you feel like the sea is where you belong.
