Cosmic Constellations by Olly @Belmont

I have never tasted the spices of a Mexican palace,
but I have tasted fish and chips from New Beacon Road, taste buds tingling.

I have never felt an exotic enveloping elephant, towering over like the Eiffel Tower,
but I have felt an overlaying blanket of snow.

I have never heard Big Ben strike late at night,
but I have heard the slow ticking of my watch breaking the silence .

I have never ridden a sky ship gilding through the lapis lazuli sky,
but I have ridden my bike down Shakespeare Avenue just before sunset.

I have never seen the heats of the Savannah Desert,
but I have seen the bitter coldness of Grantham.

I have never held a pirates treasure chest heavy as can be,
but I have held a Dominos pizza from just eat.

I have never befriended a zealous zebra zipping across the horizon,
but I have befriended by fluffy Guinea pig.

I have never climbed Mount Everest’s peak stood tall like a soldier
but I have climbed Belmont Tower whilst cosmic constellations, shine in the night sky like a mineshaft, like a black taxi, with eyes as bright as a lightbulb.
