Rooms of wonder by Sofia

Behind the blue door, hand-gel squirts onto the palm of a young child’s palm, crystals reflect lost souls from their bodies and sharks fins slice the water into foam.

Behind the black door, black panthers gaze into the midnight sky where secrets are to be found, oil spills on a desk and leaks itself into cracks and holes.

Behind the door of summer, children laugh and cheer in the silhouette of the sun, horses eat freshly grown grass gaining enough energy to satisfy another horse rider and footsteps echo through an ally as children are eager to see the circus.

Behind the door of winter, fingers crisp to the bone, children stare at the blanket of snow which has engulfed their whole garden and hair is hidden by muffins and hats.

Behind the door of autumn, children’s spirits go down hill, trees  become lonely and and animals prepare for the next level of survival.

Behind the door of  Avengers, Black Widow leaps from wall to wall aiming for the shadows, Iron Man and Captain America walk away in slow motion while a explosion erupts behind them, Spider-Man flips and flicks around amazing the crowd…

…Who watch in amazement.
