Waterfall by Sophie K
Go open the door of infinity.
Maybe you’ll taste the bloody gun powder of the war filling your sympathetic heart,
the never ending fog,
or the fire of Australia making a burning ring around you.
Go and open the box of adventure.
Maybe you’ll feel the muddy hand reaching out to pull you in,
the socked tropics leaves dripping like a waterfall,
or the simple breeze of the rocky beach.
Go and open the window of disaster.
Maybe you’ll feel the broken cups on the the floor of a failed dream,
the wooden frame of the window bent like a Jurassic slide,
or mirrors smashed on the cracked floor boards.
Go and open the bottle on peacefulness.
Maybe you’ll hear the crystal clear ocean like a curled seashell on the beach,
a candle burning away getting shorter the second,
or a waterfall cascading down.
