The choon of Dynamite. By Patrick.
If I were summonded
to create a treasure
I would take:
The crash of lightning hitting a rocky road
the sudden gunshot sound of a can opening
the choon of dynamite sizziling in a blockbuster film.
The saucey smell of pasta from a five star restaraunt
the milky chocolate wafting into my nose
cotton candy drifting around the aroma.
The uneven bumps on various lego’s
the first touch of me and my mum hugging
and sand betwwen my toes.
Seeing my family since march 6th
the beatiful but sometimes ugly look of mountians
the beatiful sight of the pesky, disgusting covid-19 leaving the world’s atmosphere.
Dear Patrick ,
Your poem is super!
By the way between has two e’s not two w’s . You spelt it wrong on the 2nd last stanza.
The best bit is ‘a sudden gunshot of a can opening ‘ .
And what does choon mean?
