Prologue

There are some places people don’t dare to go. The Magical Bureau was like that. 

Even though at Christmas , the illuminating lights by the door would glisten in the sparkling night. Even though, the mysterious tricks sound promising. Even though, the colourful sweets of every size and shape has been put on display. Still no one ventures any further than the pavement. No one that is until Daniel. 

Chapter 1 – Through The Door 

Daniel had always been curious and every time he walked by he would stare at the door wondering if any one went inside. His mother warned him many times not to go inside the Emporium as it will lead into trouble. One morning, Daniel was walking down the street when he noticed something strange about the Bureau.  For once , the door was open and without thinking, he stepped inside. Everywhere he looked, the walls were vivid and bright. He looked up and saw a chandelier swinging from the sky and the birds in the cage sang a song that filled the shop. There was a chocolate fountain with strawberrys at the side. Something caught Daniel’s eyes it was a golden covered book and a quill carved with the name ‘ Lucian Silver ‘. He looked through the book, staring at the images tightly stuck onto the book. “I see you’ve found my book of marvels,” hissed a voice. Daniel gasped. His face was stunned and shocked. He looked up at the owner, and saw that on his shoulder lay an owl, shaking its head at him,  disapprovingly.
