The Mysterious Hall
Prologue:
There are some places in life where you shouldn’t travel… This hall was one of them.
Even though there were colourful Christmas lights. Even though there was freshly baked bread that had come right out of the oven. Even though there were lots of presents lined the windows, just waiting to be opened. No one ever entered.
The door was too dark and heavy for anyone to open. Even though that was just beckoning you over. Until Thomas did…
The Book:
Thomas has always been curious about what lay behind the great door of the Hall. His dad had warned him about the door and why no one entered. But today, he saw that the door was wide open. Ignoring his dad’s warning, Thomas cautiously entered the Great Hall. To his amazement, there was everything you could think of and more. Toy soldier figures he thought to be at least a hundred years old. Candy of every colour you could think of and fish of every colour of the rainbow swam in unison. But the thing Thomas was most interested in was a leather book with words inscribed on it from a long ago. Suddenly, a voice as rough as salt sounded behind me. He had an eye patch with a silver hawk perched on his shoulder.
“I see you have found the book of sensation.” A salty voice said behind me. His eyes sparkled like diamonds in the moonlight. A silver hawk perched on his shoulder and looked at me with a disapproving eye.
good discribing but maybe try explaining more about the gate door and how it looks
