Chapter 1
There are some places where no one ever goes. The secret Emporium was like that. Even though the cute little puppy’s glanced at me no one ever goes there.
Chapter 1
James had always been nosy and his father had often warned that it could lead him lost. One rainy morning he was walking down reindeer road he noticed something suspicious about the Emporium. Suddenly the door was open and without even thinking about it, he stepped inside.
Everywhere he looked, it was packed with wonders and things that she wanted to touch. Stuffed birds of paradise. Trays of chewy brownies with gooey chocolate per swaying you to eat them. Artefacts that looked they were made 500 years ago. Leather book that had spider writing and snakes which formed a picture
Bamboo umbrella swinging from the wooden wall. Pictures of other dimensions green creatures. A sand tray filled different bones from world’s mythical creatures. Glittering gold shiny rubies over flooding the treasure chest. But what interested James most all was an old leather bound book. As he turned the pages the pictures swarmed like snakes!
“I see you’ve found my book of marvels” whispered a voice. James gasped, closed the book and looked up at the owner. He was an old man whose eyes glittered in the sunset on his leg was a brown squirrel. It shook its head at him, disapprovingly.
