The Doll And The Book

A man lurked out of the darkness, he wore a old black hat some dusty boots, a shirt with nearly the normal amount of buttons on and some old jeans that had turned the colour of mud.

“may I help you?” Said the man in a croaky voice.

“OH um sorry.. I was just looking at this doll..” stuttered Piper.

“Yes, yes I can see I’m the owner of this here shop and this doll comes with a very strange book, all the past owners have brought it back dew to the book,” muttered the man.

“Really?! Oh we’re my manners my name is Piper what’s yours?” She asked.

“Oh well my name is Milligan.” Said the man sheepishly.

“Ok well I’ll see if I can take this doll, how much?” Cried the girl with the biggest grin.

“Can you take her really? I wouldn’t think so.. on and she is 10£, including the book,”

Later after much thinking Piper brought the book and the doll, she walked around the shop to see if anything else interested her. She peaked round the corner at the man he threw down his glasses and in a blink of a eye he was gone.

In disbelief she ran behind the counter and hid suddenly he appeared again but with lighter hair, she ran into the staff only room through the door was….a garden filled with mushrooms and a cottage and a meadow, cows, geese and all you could want (in a garden) even yew trees. Then she looked at the book it had a picture of the exact forest, she gasped in disbelief the  turned the page. Next in was a carnival she ran up to the Ferris wheel come on she said to the doll, somehow the doll stood up and jumped of the bench and came on the Ferris wheel.
