The Anywhere Emporium-Chapter 2 By Gabriella
“My name is Veila Gold and this is my wolf, Silvia Gold please ignore her she can be quite moody sometimes,” Miss Gold exclaimed pointing at her white creature. “Will do!” Chasmeen replied giggling to herself. “Just remember to never go near my book of imaginations again or there will be consequences,” Gold said sternly glancing at her book.
Almost a second later, Gold had disappeared through a beautiful violet curtain and left Chasmeen alone with the book. As the temptation of the book built up inside of her the only thing keeping her away was a voice in her head, it was Miss Gold’s voice repeatedly saying consequences. She couldn’t take it the pressure and temptation had taken over her entire body as she turned to the door she found herself getting further away from the exit and closer to the book but then…
Rushing, to the book and opening it she felt a rush of relief seeing perfect drawings and notes about lakes and rivers, villages and towns. Her heart filled up with amazement.
After a few minutes, Chasmeen found herself with a pen in her hand. She drew like she had been practising for years. She sketched a village and sunset and then coloured in chalk. Tearing up, the last thing she drew was something she had always wished she had back.
“Come,” growled the wolf howling down the corridor. Chasmeen not knowing what as going to happen followed the beast. Coming to a stop Silvia ( the wolf ) scraped her claws on a freshly painted door staining her claws red. That feeling was back she was too tempted. She rapped her fist around the door handle and slowly opened it.
She stepped in but not into what she was expecting. Freezing as she was mesmerised by a cozy, old village were everyone knew each other, where it was always peaceful. But it wasn’t daytime the sun was just setting and the stars began to sit in the moonlight. Without hesitating she suddenly realised it was just how she had dreamt, the village, the sunset and it was exactly like what she had drawn in Miss Gold’s book. Before wasting anymore time Chasmeen quickly walked towards a pastel yellow gate.
