The Nowhere Emporium – Chapter 2

The man stared at Jackson and he stared back. He felt rather frightened of the man despite his friendly looking appearance. He then said, “Please do not touch it, only touch things that are for sale.” He slowly nodded his head and the shopkeeper said goodbye, then vanished.

He thought he would open the book anyways because, why not? So he peeled back the front cover and saw pages upon pages of magical and mystical things, like a land with trees made of candy floss and chocolate, alligator people and a tree that grows every fruit in current existence! He kept flicking the pages until he found some blank pages and he decided he would put his own idea in it. He drew a the interior of a room, it was a treasure trove of video-games from Space Raiders to PvZ and then Fifa 21. It was the stuff of every child’s dream! He closed the book and looked onwards, there he saw a little white squirrel, he recognised it as one of the squirrels that were crawling across the shopkeeper earlier.

It beckoned him to follow. So he did, he went across rooms full of bonkers and outright disgusting stuff, until he came to a door that seemed to be made of pixels! He opened it and there it was, the room he made.
