The Magical Emporium
“You shouldn’t be here.” The owner said after an awkward pause. “I-I-I was just looking at the th-things at the front of your shop.” The shop keeper didn’t reply all he did was say “I want you to go and never step foot in my shop again.” and he waked off through red velvet curtains. Georgia slumped and walked over to the door. She and opened the door and the bell rang at the top of the door. She walked over to someone amidst the crowd and asked one of them if they had been in the shop before. But none of them had acknowledged the shop at all. All they said was not go in there. Georgia overlooked the reason why no one went in. She did what her gut told her to do. She was on the door step of the shop debating to herself whether she should do this. Her heart was pounding, she could feel it in her neck. When she opened the door her eyes were peeled for an owner, but no owner was to be seen. She stormed over to the now closed book. She decided to give it a name: The Book of Wonders. Georgia was quite proud of this name. Although she was having a smile on her face, it faded just as the owner opened the scarlet curtains. “What are you doing here.” He said in a disgusted voice. Georgia’s heart suddenly down. She was stuck where she was. “I-I was just in here to… erm to… have a look at…. the…..dolls.” Georgia knew straight away that he wouldn’t be a fool to believe this. She put her hands behind her back and crossed her fingers in hope that he wouldn’t catch her out. To her surprise, he thought Georgia was telling the truth so he let her stay and look at his items to sell. As he strided away Georgia kept an eye on him while was consumed into the curtains once again. To make sure he was truly gone Georgia waiting a minute or two so he was deep into the darkness of the curtains. After that minute or two, Georgia ran over to the book at the counter and saw the miraculous drawing it had created. As she looked up from the book however, there was no velvet curtains that had devoured the shop keeper, there was just a wooden door with golden hinges. Georgia took a deep breath and carefully tiptoed over to the wooden door. As she opened it she saw at least 100-200 doors all wooden except from one. This one door was blood red. It had metal hinges, it called out to her. She had to investigate. So she walked over to the door and opened it precautiously. She saw the room that was drawn in the book. She was flustered. “How.” She muttered.
