The magical Emporium.
The thing that couldn’t be missed was a brown fluffy teddy that lay untouched on the circular carpet. She walked over to it her heart racing. This was hers when she was just a small little girl. She picked up the teddy and in the blurry background of the sight of the bear she saw a door, a door that she couldn’t recall.
The door seemed unusual like everything in the shop. Despite all the odd things that had happened today Georgia opened the door. When the door was slightly ajar she peered through the gap. She could see nothing but a pile of clothes and towels just thrown on the floor. The room was not a room it was just a dirty cupboard. Georgia was determined to dig deeper and maybe even find clues. So she searched through the heap of clothing first and found: a sock with no partner; a t-shirt with missing buttons and stains (that looked like coffee stains) and the final one was a bit unusual a book.
Georgia pushed the heap of clothes aside and lay the book slowly onto the floor. As she was about to open the book however, it opened itself. The book had drawings and symbols (clearly marked there by an ink pen). “Hello?” Said an unfamiliar voice. Georgia paused, the book closed and reversed into the pile of vile clothes. She thought hard and strong and she made a decision that the voice didn’t sound like the shopkeeper’s, it sounded like a boy.
