The Mystical Castle, Chapter: 3, by Jake y4
It seemed to be a treasure room judging by the interior. There was everything you could only dream of seeing: the walls were coated with glistening gold; ancient books and scrolls were located on top of a magnificent red chair; enticing rubies were contained in azure blue jars; diamond chains hung from the scarlet red ceiling; emeralds were carved in to stands coated a knight’s shining armour; ominous paintings of dragons were hung on the walls; and a magnificent, bewitching, gleaming trophy was placed directly in the centre of the room. An eerie archway drew Henry attention in, as he sprinted towards the archway. He leisurely crept through the corridor and came to a stop.
Behind him, a deep slur caught his attention. He peered back before carrying his legs further down the corridor. In front of him was nothing. Just a deep void lay in his sight. He sprinted through the treasure room door but still, nothing. As he looked back, he found himself in the first corridor. He wondered what trickery and magic was used to make this happen. He peaked around an unexplored corner and was met by fear.
An immortal behemoth of a dragon emerged from a nest made from eternity. Henry rapidly hurtled away from the dragon, but he was no match for the beast. Balls of death were launched at him; however, he was avoiding everything. Although, he didn’t notice that he was headed towards a dead end!!
Tensions were high, as he ducked under the demonic strike of it’s deadly, razor sharp wing. Henry rapidly sprinted towards the castle doors, clutching his fist.Every manoeuvre was a risk. All hope was lost. He was surely doomed.
