Chapter 1 – The Spirits Awaken.

Charlie stood with his squad in the midst of the broken down city; there were all mutated animals who had grown the ability to speak and walk on their hind legs after the nuclear bomb had hit their city. When the bomb hit, the spirits that haunted the city had grown stronger and were once more released.

“Come on team! We’ve got to beat The Insolence!” Pony cried out.

“In one encounter? But we aren’t strong enough! We never prepared for this!” Giraffy answered back.

“I use to hunt rabbits you know..” Kitty muttered, sharpening her claws.

“Enough! We’re going to try our hardest. If we fail, there’s always tomorrow” I called. I was the only human there, and I was the one most use to standing on 2 legs; not 4, so I stood my ground harder than them.
