The Magic Door
The Magic Door Prologue
There was once a tree that was different from the rest a bigger tree then you ever guessed. The tree was larger than a dragon. a lot of people have walked past it the tree was known by many people that lived in the town. Until one day a young girl named Cassy found a door inside of the tree.
Chapter 1 – Through the Door
Cassy was a smart individual, but she was also very curious. One lovely day she found a cracked, old, oak door in the tree. Without thinking she slowly opens the door and walks through. She finds a playground with small girls and boys. The playground was very big, and she thought to herself “Why is it here? She found a large emporium and went inside there was lots of doors with dreams and wonders. She walked down a nice long hall and it’s like everything she ever wanted was there. Then there was a particular large door and she entered inside. It was beautiful. The red walls were so colourful then she saw something on a stand.
Chapter 2 – Disobeying
Cassy found a book when she touched it a man came behind her and said “Hello!” She jumped and said, “Who are you?” The man said, “I’m Thomas!” “Oh alright.” Cassy said. “Don’t touch the book.” Thomas said weirdly. “Ok” said Cassy confused. She went to look around and opened the book again while he wasn’t looking and the next thing, she knew she was drawing a beautiful lake with fish swimming inside of it.
A small kitten came over to her and hugs her and runs away. Cassy follows the small kitten and gets to a door that looks new, most of the doors had something on them, but this door was plain. She walked inside and saw a lake with fish swimming inside without thinking, she ran over to the lake and sat beside the lake, but she saw a statue. She didn’t draw that. She went over and said, “What is that thing?” A few people round the statue said, “This is the thing that makes this town what it is now!” She went behind the trees and there was a giant town, right in front of her.
Chapter 3 – The New World
Cassy walked into the small town with small houses and little shops. Then she saw a house that caught her eye it had: A red wall that sparkled in the daylight; A brown very smooth tiled roof and a very nice white door.
Cassy knocked on the white door, but no one answered. She walked into the house feeling kind of selfish that she was walking into a stranger’s house. She went in and it had: A soft couch with pink pillows; An old dusty cooker; A small bed made with pink covers and sheets and a little bathroom with a small shower.
Cassy heard something but thought nothing of the sound and kept looking around anyway. She heard it again. But louder! She saw a dark shadow with big claws, red eyes and sharp teeth. Cassy ran through the closet and looked through the peek in the door.
The scary as a beast monster creeped closer to the closet but left after a minute. It was her chance to escape! She went out the window and laned in the soft grass and ran back to the statue but there was no one there, she looked around some more but still no one there. In fact, it’s like they all disappeared. Then a glitchy voice behind her said “Come back Cassy”.
Chapter 4 – Homecoming
When Cassy heard the sound, she ran away and went to where the door was, but it wasn’t there? The dark man was behind her. She kept running, but on top of the statue there was a door. She climbed the statue as fast as she could and she softly opened the door, but it blew her hand of the door handle.
She landed in the river. The river was way bigger than she expected. It was so deep she was sinking fast. She swam to the top so tired she couldn’t climb the statue. She tried her best to climbed the statue, but the door was gone. She saw something in the water that looked like a door.
She dived into the blue lake water grasping her chest she really needed to breath but kept going anyway. Something was pulling her up she pushed and pushed her way out of the dragging. And got through the door and open it she was as wet as a fish but when she went through the door, she was dry.
She was confused why she wasn’t wet. “Did u have fun?” said Thomas with a creepy smile on his face. Cassy shook her head. “Well, I think you should be going now don’t want your mother to worry do you?” Thomas opened the door. Cassy walked out of the emporium. She turned round but it was gone as if it disappeared into thin air.
She walked home to her house and went to study. What she didn’t know was that something was following her. A cat sat on the tree and lay down. It had all the time in the world.
