The cloud-ladybug by Poppy
The cloud-ladybug
The cloud-ladybug is a rare type of creature and has only recently been found out. Its extraordinary skills have made it one of the most interesting insects in history. Would you recognise this creature if you saw one? Are there any important facts we need to know?
Like most bugs, the cloud-ladybug has wings, legs and eyes. Many cloud-ladybugs have 6 legs on each side so 12 legs altogether, this makes it possible for them to fly at 100 miles per an hour. Most are the size of a bit of gravel and bury themselves in grass. Phenomenally, they can see through people!
The cloud-ladybug’s body is a pale blue with white spots that bulge when they fly. Their blue bodies shine silver in the sunlight and their white spots shimmer gold. Strangely, they can breathe clouds when they flutter high in the sky. They can fly so high that sometimes they can touch stars! When anxious or scared they bite or sting humans which can lead to severe illness or rarely, death. So be warned.
Hi Poppy, this is a really nice piece of writing. You have really thought about Pie’s instructions in constructing your report. I particularly liked your use of the word, ‘Phenomenally”. Great choice! I found this piece because you were the first person to post a link in a comment!
