Chapter two foxes
The sun had hardly rissen when Jake sundley awoke from his good night sleep, a curious bird keeped peking on the there door, it was garry the bird he had given them a letter to say the snakes had broken down the walls and there heading to Wailing Woods. They have to go now or they will be caught and will have to work for the snakes. Justin took one last look at the map then headed west.
As they were walking across the damp muddy floor a soft breeze of wind brushed against their faces and the mud started to bubble. Justin held Jake and Jema’s hand and ran across the mud. Soon they were out of the mud and it was raining so whether they liked it or not they had to leave a trail behind since the mud then stuck to the paws. Finally they made it to the edge of Waling Woods and could see what had to be the outline of Camping Code. Maybe they could hide there for a bit?
Three hours later they were at the walls of Caping Code. If they could find a way in they would be safe from the slither animals as they will not be wellcome and will be kicked out as soon as they are spotted, but will that happen to them? Soon they saw a rat go into a little hole that they could just fit through.
The dark gloomy hole went deep down into the ground and then went up past the wall into the streets of the town. As Justin took the lead darkness came to them, as kreped closer, light hovered above their heads a tasty smell came through the town all the way in the hole but they had to resist. As they climbed out of the dark gloomy hole they knew it would be a good idea to hide from the foxes in Caping Code, as long as they were not seen they would be safe from the claws of the foxes . They will need to stay at Caping Code until danger passes.
As night hit the town, Justin had found an abandoned little shed that was amazing, they could properly stay there for a bit. They could use the hay for some little beds, suddenly a storm appeared out of nowhere, it started to rain and lightning came blasting down on the floor. Everyone wondered if their grandmother was ok?
Justin soon realised they had no food and it was up to him to get some. Jake and Jema were fast asleep, soon while they were still sleeping he slipped out of the little shed and went to get some food . He kept into the shadows so he wouldn’t be spotted, Justin looked around for some fresh food but instead found a food stand as he slowly went to the to the stand foxes caught rats with their razor sharp claws and ripped their insides out as others stepped on the bones. Justin couldn’t stop shaking, he was speechless, he was so confused why they did this to such innocent creatures. Justin was at the food stand and took 12 pairs, 2 loaves of bread and 4 apples. At least they won’t be hungry anymore.
Out of nowhere an old worn out voice shouted “ hey you what you doing here” At that moment he knew he was in deep deep trouble. An old fox appeared from the shadows, Justin’s heat started to begin rapidly. Every time his heat beeted the foxes got closer and closer the foxes claws came out getting ready to pounce at Justin. Their eyes were as green as grass and their fur coats were light orange.
The Fox that Justin stole from at the stand appeared in the corner of his eyes. A silhouette appeared in Justin site and was just standing there watching. Justin shifted towards the shadows hopping to not be seen by the green beady eyes.
