A sticky situation

With a flourish, what had appeared to be a shadow, stood tall. It was the cheetah one of the tiger leaders. His body was encased in fur and some sort of leather armour, his face mask leather as well and osolots skulls hung from his belt. In his hands he clutched a black metal spike. The street goblins screamed for they have never seen something so deadly. Within seconds the cramed with thousands of street goblins of all shapes, sizes and colours.

When the fighting cleared, there were many skulls and bodies in the dark alleyway and no sign of cheetah. Cautiously, Jonathan crept back to the cat bed, badly shaken by what he had seen. A strange coldness soul had rushed into his body and clutched onto his heart. He was sure that cheetah had came for the osolots!

By sunrise, Jonathan, Nathan and baby Annie left goblin palace far behind and were heading across a great plan to jungle hills. The journey took almost all day and so it was nightfall, they found themselves sheltering in a cave on the hillside where smoked steamed. The mountain glowed at night and rumbled a lot it was like we were in a giants stomach. Nathan was worried that they were too close but Jonathan showed him the map and sure enough their route took them over the hillside, right by the jungle hills.

Outside the cave, the bitter wind swept leafs across the field. Inside Nathan busied him self by making a small fire and roaring leafs and mushrooms. Nervously, Jonathan unwrapped the item his dad have given him before he went to war and disappeared. It was a small spike that he named ‘the lucky one ‘ he names it that because it saved him once. It’s glowed silver in the darkness of the cave. Even Annie knew that  was a bad sign for it meant  that goblins were close by!

The walls of the caves seemed to creak and bulge until there was a blinding flash of light through a hole In the cave were the goblins poured. Within milliseconds, the little rabbits were trussed up in a sticky thread that must have come from spiders. Annie buried her head, Nathan glared at the goblins and Jonathan struggled to hide ‘ the lucky one’ so that they would at least one weapon.

Too late! A shadow squeezed into the cave even goblins shrank back. Cheetah sneered at Jonathan “going somewhere?” He purred through his, leather mask. “ going nowhere I think!” He added clicking his paws. Scurrying forwards, the goblins bundled the osolots back into the mountain side and carried them deep into the centre until they came to a massive hole in the wall that’s where the tiger was them. sharping there weapons and preparing for war. Terrified, Jonathan started at cheetah. It looked as if the army was waiting, waiting to harm the one place that would be safety for them, the caves and cliffs.
