I met the war By Ava SWW
I met the war
I met a boy named War.
His face was covered in scars
and sadness grew inside his body
and he fought to save his family and country.
I met a boy called Fire,
he held a match in his left hand and a firework in the other.
He came out at night to brighten up the dark sky.
I met a lady called Lighthouse.
She had bright yellow eyes that shone at night
and her arms dropped down like a Autumn leaf falling from a tree.
She worked all day to keep children safe.
I met a girl called Anxiety.
She stayed in her room hiding from the world
and panicked when she didn’t need to.
Her eyes where grey like like a cloud on a rainy day
and wore a ripped checked shirt.
I met a girl called cloud.
Her skin was as soft as a comforting teddy bear
and pranced around like a graceful ballerina.
