On the way home
I met a girl named bird,
her hair felt like silver feathers
made from the softest silk.
Her innocent eyes glistened
like bottomless pool of golden amber
as she whispered all of the worlds wondourus secrets
through a beak as fine as a flute.
I met a boy called flame,
his eyes were the colour of dark embers
floating down from long ago smoke
and his hair was like golden sparks
from an ever burning fire.
He walked like a glowing sunset
slowly fading away.
I met a woman called Autumn,
she silently tiptoed as gracefully as a leaf falling
from a golden tree as summer goes to sleep.
Her hands were as fragile as a crispy leaf.
