The Jewel Tree.

Jewel Tree.

Jewel trees clutter in the breeze,
The gems substitute leaves,
Its trunk crumbly,
Like a freshly baked chocolate cake,
With at least twenty one layers,
Smothered in jewels of all kinds,
Sky blue sapphires,
And as red as bubbling lava rubies,
With pearls as smooth as an apple’s skin,
A jewel tree is decorated with,
Bark as rustic as tired metal,
With roots tangled like computer wires,
And twigs as bright as Christmas fairy lights,
Jewel Trees whisper against the wind,
Their voices as hoarse as an,
Old man, tiring himself in a short jog,
They’re crown as gathered and full,
As an oversized crowd of people at a concert,
And it’s shining and glistening as of the gems,
Ocean-clear diamonds,
And grass-green emeralds,
With the most majestic opals,
And a lavender amethyst,
Topping it off with a,
Bright high-lighter shade topaz,
All of these things make a:
Jewel Tree.
