The stone flower

The stone flower is normally in a cave because it is a stone and it is normally camouflaged. Also the stone flower is on the wall because of that it hangs like a stalactite from the wall. This flower is so tiny that you have to bring a flash light so you can see it and it needs to be picked up by tweezers. They are normally found deep underground and in a small section of the cave. They live in the biggest caves in the USA.

Every day they grow one centimetre but when they stretch to ten centimetres they go back to one centimetre but every five times it does it makes two others and then they explode. However, they need oxygen so they can survive. They don’t need that much oxygen to live in the caves it can carve stone and humans. The people who mine it sell it for one million pounds.

The flower is very popular and every person want to sell it for all the money but some people die because the cave falls on their head or the stone flower drills them open and sliced them to death. But when it is broken it cannot drill anything in front of them and they can drill one metre.
