Prologue

Selena stared out of the school window as the sky got darker and the rain became heavier. He saw something in the distance

 glinting in the dusk night like metallic spears, ready for action.She Sensed the roar of the cannons firing buckshot, like dragon’s breath. She sensed the burning gas like it was one centimeter away,the smell was as strong as a lion trying to catch its prey

 Turning to her friend Lilly, Selena whispered “IT’S COMING CLOSER” Lilly said, HUMANS BEFORE MECHANICALS!”

 Chapter one

Selena nudged Lilly,”we have to find a way to get out of here and find the Macguffin”

The teacher yelled and the class stared at them, both the girls gulped.

It became break time and the girls went into the corner and started to plan on  how to find the macguffin “how about we set off the fire alarm and when everyone goes out we gather our things and run” 

Whispered Lilly. “Okay but if we get caught it’s YOUR fault”exclaimed Selena.

Break was over now, trying not to get caught Lilly tiptoed to the alarm and pressed the button…BEEP BEEP BEEP

Everyone began to go outside.

Everyone was outside now so Selena gathered their bags and coats.

When Lilly came back they found a window and climbed out of it “hurry up i think they’re coming” they both came out and began their search for the Macguffin…
