Chapter 2

Her fluffy bed still shimmered at midnight, the wooden chair she sat on to read her books still rocked up and

down as the wind blew coldly from under the door. Beneath her old, comfy bed, there was a box of mysterious

parcels they were still there too.  She walked over to the bathroom nothing was broken except the mirror over

the sink. Lily remembered that she had left her father’s pocket watch in her drawer’s upstairs. When she got

up the stairs she found stuffed at the back wrapped in old newspaper a little dusty cog from an old clock fell

out from the back of it. Lilly began to sneeze as the dust rose and hit her in her face.

But then Lilly heard a door shut and then footsteps coming up the stairs. Sneakily her father’s boss professor

James came trotting threw the door.

“I’ve been expecting you came a cold voice from the door.

“I will be needing that “Said the professor.

Ten minutes later they were locked in an icy shed in the middle of nowhere there was only a small window at

the side but that was all.

“We will never get out of this old, dusty shed” murmured Robert.

“Yes we will and we will save my father” Lilly said proudly.

“ Good look” Robert said silently looking around the room.
