Chapter 3
Chapter 3
Paragraph 1
Ann Marie was determined to get out of the damp underground cellar. She was pacing up and down the walls like a cat trying to escape out of its home. She really didn’t know what to do next… Will she ever escape? Will she ever get out?
Ann sighed, “Are you going to help me you lazy lump!” she argued with Caleb for a while.
“All you ever do is sit around doing nothing!”
Caleb was quit shook up after this so he got to work straight away.
Caleb grunted, “Ugh there is no point we will be stuck in here forever.”
“Get your act together.” Shouted Ann-Marie.
“ Oh right away.” Exclaimed Caleb.
Caleb thought of a very alarming way to get them both out of the damp cell.
“Can I have your hair clip Ann.” Called Caleb.
“I guess so.” Grunted Ann.
Caleb broke the hair clip and got the metal end what holds the hair tie all together and put it in the lock. Ann-Marie went closer only to realise Caleb did not have his dad’s great skills. Sadly, they both walked away from the cellar with a frown on their face. Walking away in disbelief and failing was a hard thing for them both to do.
But everyone would know they were soon to get over it however they knew they would get out of the cellar in no time in they believe in their selves and never give up. They continued trying until. They got it.
Finally, they heard a very weird noise coming from the lock. It was talking in a very funny voice. “Hey it was you who was poking me with a hair before .” said a tiny newt. Carrying on the conversation the newt was talking for a while. Before he could help them they had a very important rule. Never judge a newt. Not that they will never judge a newt anyway.
“Right let’s get to work.” Exclaimed the newt.
“Let’s name him star.” Declared Ann-Marie.
“What I want you to do is go into the sitting area and go through a green jewellery box there is a key which will match the cellar key.” Told Caleb.
Ann-Marie and Caleb couldn’t wait for star to get back. When star got back he passed the key to Ann and she quickly opened the lock and put the key in and escaped from the wooden cells.
They soon quickly escaped after a long couple of days. The breeze quickly toughed their faces and she felt the warm trees swaying side to side. It was a happy ending after all they have escaped at last. Ann and Caleb had a very big smile on their face as they stumbled out of the cell and onto the side path ready to go back to the orphanage unless they find their mum and dad.
Ann- Marie and Caleb had thoughts and questions about their mum and dad no one could ever answer but herself. They really needed to find them. Where is her mother?
Can she find her true family?
Could they be in danger?
Ann had something for her mother.
Could you help find Ann’s and Caleb’s mother? It would really mean a lot to them. Caleb wants to find his ng lost Auntie.
