Chapter 4
Mya dreamed, A small soft peaceful voice called her name and she was running down a corridor with sharp corners, and it was pitch black following the voice .But when she drew closer it went more far away. It sounded like her mother’s soft voice she was running as fast as her legs could carry her towards the voice all she saw was fuzzy 3D shapes around her and so many corners and hallways it was a part of her now she would never forget that dream.
She woke up with sun light beaming in her eyes through the cracks of the barn roof. Paul was still snoozing but Northie was awake licking the mud of her paws. she stopped licking the mud off her paws and stared at her with her blue eyes shining in the sun. Mya creaked over to Northie and began to wind up the key ,after a few minutes
“ah that’s better.” gasped Northie.
“It’s time to get that locket back. I saw the professor walk past when you were asleep fixing his airship. So up you get and start working we have work to do!”instructed Northie
” Oi I was having a good dream thanks for ruining it” shouted Paul he stretched and rubbed his tired eyes.
A few moments later two men jumped over the wall and headed towards the silver airship. The airships balloon was filling up with fire they watched as the professor carried a wooden crate into the airship and placed it carefully on the floor as he made his way back to Sunny Manor.
“Time to put this plan into action” exclaimed Northie
Jumping over the field Northie and Mya walked on the wooden walkway and Paul untangled the rope and was left behind. To their relief the McGuffin was there with her mums drawings.
“You thieves , rapscallions , How dare you! ” roared the professor rushing towards the airship like cheetah capturing it’s prey .
Immediately ,the airship was flying in the air. Mya watched as the professor was raging with anger but they were already flying so high they couldn’t even hear him. And the other two dudes were trying to make the professor calm down.
The airship was flying into rose air and there was a muffled shout under deck and there was Mya’s mum, she was dressed like a brussel sprout at Christmas. Mya hugged her close and said that she missed her lots, but the ship was rising into the sky.
“How dare they kidnap you, it will never happen again.” Mya cried.
“Thank goodness my drawing is still here.” Gasped Mya’s mum with a sigh of relief.
Mya and Northie watched as they drifted over the whole town and you could hardly see the houses and there was so many fields. They were so many colours and the roads looked like rainbows, Mya was so happy to be with her mum and Northie curled up and snoozed.
